CRO Ltd also organises conferences and other one-day training and information events. The team has undertaken a number of these including:
Widening Horizons: a conference for arts education agencies. Client: Arts Council England Education Department
Launch Pad: the arts and the early years in the East Midlands. Client: Arts Council England, East Midlands
Specialist Arts Colleges Conference: Clients: the Specialist Schools Trust and Arts Council England, South East
The Pulse and Sciart workshop series, January to March 2005, in collaboration with Aspirational Arts Partnerships. Client: the Wellcome Trust
Our recent work with Creative Partnerships has included extensive series of training days for teachers and artists.
We bring together a team to administer the conference and to supply excellent front of house service. We work on programme development, budgeting, researching the subject of the conference, finding and briefing appropriate speakers and overseeing the general running of the conference.
CRO Ltd focuses on conference subjects within the general area of arts education (including programme development for young people, children and families) and education and community development for artists and arts organisations. We are happy to discuss organising conferences and training/ information sessions, and can offer outline budgets and programme suggestions.
"Having your team in place on the day made it the most stress-free event I've ever been involved in."

Catherine occasionally hosts a classical music radio show at the Milton Keynes community online radio station Secklow 1055 FM (www.secklow1055.org).
She presents it for 12-week series twice a year, and alternates with her co-presenter Tori Longdon.
The show aims to introduce the audience to classical music through an hour of short pieces and lively talk, including guest artists and an occasional visit from Lady Effingham.
